My name is Dan Muniz and yes I am of Mexican heritage. I am married to a wonderful woman named Donna and we have a boy named Daniel and a daughter named Trina. I lived most of my life here in Racine, Wisconsin where I played in various Mexican bands that did not last very long, always braking up as soon as we started new ones. The longest band I have played is still with this present band Strait and Narrow almost 12 to 13 years and that is an awesome blessing to me.

The reason I play guitar and sing is because I always been a musician and I know this is a gift from God to me, but now I do it for His glory. By the way I come from a family of musicians.  The opportunity God has given to me is a privilege, and an immense blessing to go out and spread the word of God thru Bluegrass music and testimonies between songs.

When I am not playing music I support my family as a construction laborer around South Eastern Wisconsin it is hard work but is where the Lord has me at this time.

I attend Racine Assembly Of God church along with my family where I sing in the church Choir I also play guitar and sing with the worship team there. My children are involved in children choir where my wife also helps out.

My Lord is the one who kept His hands and eyes upon my life and blessed me by keeping me safe when I served in the army in Viet Nam and this I am very grateful to Him. I know that He cared for me so much when I was over there. I have seen and experienced many life-threatening experiences, but His hands were upon me and, for that I am anxious and thankful to serve Him. Another blessing is many of those experiences that I had in Viet Nam are replaced with His continuous presence in my life, and the rest seem like a blur. One of my favorite verses is “for the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” and “ I am the way the truth and the life no man comes to the father but thru me

To conclude I love the guy’s in the band, and we all love to serve Him by ministering to you with this gift, and privilege He has given us. If I have the privilege to meet face to face with you some day, then that would be a blessing to me. Dan
